Here is the detailed description of the syllabus that candidates have to prepare. English syllabus consists of synonyms, antonyms, spelling test, spotting errors, passive and active voice, general English, fill in the blanks, idioms and phrases, Para completion, transformation, sentence arrangement, substitution, joining sentences, error correction and passage-completion.
Selection process– candidates will be selected by marks obtained in written and practical test followed by an interview.
To qualify in the written test, candidates must have general knowledge and qualify words dictation. The written examination is 30 minutes; the test is of 25 marks with minimum passing marks for different categories. For SC/ST-8, MBC/BC-9, OC-10.

- Si no. 6- 9-word dictation.

The minimum for computer operator, typist, senior bailiff, and junior bailiff and Xerox operator is 18 years for all communities. For ex-serviceman belonging to SC/ST/MBC and BC maximum age is 43 years and for ex-serviceman belonging to OC must not exceed the age of 48 years. Candidates applying for watchman, sweeper, and masalchi must have the age between 18- 40 years.
